Spotlighting Innovation
At CLIA our mission is to foster our members’ success and protect and promote the industry’s license to operate responsibly. We are committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation to help chart our industry’s collective course. We invite all our exhibitor partners to join us on this journey.
With a keen focus on groundbreaking solutions addressing our industry’s most pressing challenges, products and services must feature sustainability and/or innovation in the following categories to streamline operations and lead the industry to its net-zero emission goals:
- Maritime: Navigational equipment and fuel
- Technology: Cutting-edge digital solutions
- Hospitality: Eco-friendly materials and functional concepts
- Design and Newbuild: Disruptive and transformational ideas
Each exhibitor, both new and returning, will be asked to submit an application for consideration. Products submitted for inclusion in the Innovation Showcase must meet the following criteria:
- NEW: The product or service is not yet widely available in the cruise industry. Exceptions will be considered for mainstream products with new features emphasizing sustainability, carbon neutrality, and shore power
- ORIGINAL: Whether already available or in the pipeline, these products should be groundbreaking, conceptual, or futuristic.
- CREATIVE: Products or services that offer unique solutions to existing challenges.
- GLOBAL: Products or services that are/will be useful beyond one region, supporting global progress.
Once selected, these products will be featured as the centrepiece of each exhibitor’s turnkey stand.
The Application Process
- To participate, all exhibitors must complete a pre-qualification form detailing how their product and/or service meets the above criteria.
- Approved exhibitors will have an opportunity to secure a booth within shell scheme and size options offered. All booths are turnkey.
- The estimated approval period is approximately 10-14 days (two weeks).
- Upon approval, CLIA will reach out with the final space contract and agreement.
